Emergency Hormonal Contraception (often called the morning after pill) is a tablet that can be taken after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. The morning after pill is available without a prescription following a consultation with a Pharmacist.
There is no charge for this service if you have a Medical Card. if you do not have a Medical Card the cost is €30.
